Slowly but surely....
I saw my doctor yesterday.  He said I am about 70% healed.  He thinks over the next month I should get to 90-100%.  He does not think surgery is necessary if I continue to heal.  He also gave me an okay to travel to New York next weekend.  I am having a CT scan on Wednesday.  

This is good news.  I know it is.  I am just frustrated that I'm not completely healed.  Monday will be th 12 week anniversary of my accident.

That's fantastic news! I'm thrilled for you. I know you're frustrated (can't even begin to imagine), but hopefully in another month or two this will all be a distant memory.

90-100% is fantastic. I'm so sorry you're going through this, but yeah, it has to be soooo frustrating. My mom is now 3.5 months since her broken ankle (comlications with diabetes) and she's still not healed entirely (and possibly never will). Hopefully soon she'll be in a walking cast.

I can't help but wonder if I should have gotten the surgery and then I would be feeling no pain right now...but my Physical Therapist says I'm doing great and he wouldn't lie, right????

How are you feeling?

Not necessarily! Well, not that the pt would lie, but you may not necessarily have been pain free by now! That is a HUGE recovery time no?! I'm all about no surgery unless my life depended on it (which for breast reduction it did :P) There are always so many complications and horror stories, i try the least invasive routes usually1

I emailed you last night as I gimped into bed! :/ I did too much. I'm tingling again but it's been worse so I should hush it!
